Our new Prime Toitū Veneer™ panels have been hand-crafted to emulate the look of solid timber and will add impact to any interior project.
The new range uses mis-matched leaves in a stunning planked effect and includes six NZ Native timber options along with American White Oak, Macrocarpa and American Walnut. Click to view the whole range.
We've chosen the name Toitū to represent the sustainability inherent in these mis-matched veneer panels and the fact that two-thirds of the species offered are homegrown. One cubic metre of solid timber yields 900 square metres of veneer and with no need for matching leaves or panels, the irregularities, knots and beauty of natural timber are brought to the forefront.
Due to the mis-matching of leaves you should expect considerable variation between panels. For best effect, use them on large-scale cabinetry and for wall and ceiling panels where you want the look of solid timber, but prefer the sustainability of using a timber veneer - which will yield 20 times more from the same block of wood.
All carry Eco Choice Aotearoa accreditation and come in panels sizes up to 2750mm x 1220mm depending on the MDF or plywood substrate chosen.
As you'd expect, all our Toitū Veneer panels are from certifiably sustainable sources. But the added advantage of using NZ Native Toitū veneer is the ability to track back to the trees they came from with our world-leading Track my Tree initiative.
